Gorton point Follow the road down the east side of the loch to Strachur. Take the turning for the B8000 and follow the road for 10miles. There's a couple of houses at Gorton and a sharp lefthand bend with a wall and large overtaking area. Parking somewhere here with enough space for 4/5 cars (please allow for other vehicles overtaking). Entry over very slippy rocks -so please be careful Head to the right approx (NNE), should cross an old cable by 15m, follow this to the right. It lies on top of the start of the rocky reef. Generally a shingle slope to start with but as you get onto the rocky reef with seabed slopes away more quickly and 40m can be reached. Reef contains much life, various starfish, urchins, anemones, dead mans fingers etc
