Kenmore Point

Follow the road through Furnace Quarry past Stallion Rock another mile to the estate entrance. There is parking for several vehicles at the top. Do not try to drive down this road as there is a small wooden bridge which is unsafe. Entry is by the beach to the leftof the monument on the headland. This site is similar to Stallion Rock

There are some nice shelves at around 6m and 9m (ideal for training). The slope then drops to 40m+.  Easy to pick a depth and swim along. Life is varied but usual suspects for this location.  Squat lobsters, crab, some small flat fish, the odd Hoover and bits of a washing machine
