St Catherines Reef

Continue past St. Catherines for approx one mile and you will see a junction on the right heading towards the Loch (this junction is signposted on the left side of the road - there is an earlier, similar junction but this has a gate - don't take this junction).  There are two dive sites here - first about 20 m down the road and the second approx 200m further.  Please note that this is a residental access road and priority should be given to residents.

On both sites there are well worn paths down to the shoreline.  There is a line of rocks which run into the water.....If you enter the water here and swim NW, you should reach a rocky reef in about 8-20m.  Loads of life here.  Going deeper, there is another reef at about 34m, but it's easy to miss.
