Stallion Rock

Best done as a boat dive (you can launch from Strachur Bay on the opposite side of the Loch or from Inverary Caravan Park), however it is possible to do it as a shore dive if you don't mind a trek through a forest in full kit!!   If done as a shore dive follow the road up through Furnace Quarry for about a mile. This site is well signposted and there is a cleared area for parking. Walk down through the woods to the shore.

This site is a mud slope down to about 17m then a vertical cliff face down to about 30m. If you go out slightly further from the bottom of the cliff face there is another vertical face going down to about 60m
